This custom piece is made with a military grade glass plate that was in a laser lab. I had purchased these lenses and parabolic mirrors and this 1/4” glass plate has a unique orange tint. I always figured it would make a nice ambient light casting a sun set effect. The light looks good accenting a table or on the floor. Glass diameter is 12” and is shown with a 25w incandescent bulb, but can accept any standard bulb of your choice. The frame is raw steel that has been waxed against a black cast iron base.
